The Burger Lounge in West Hollywood is one of the chain’s most recently added locations

burger lounge Game for burgers?  The you will be wild for The Burger Lounge, recently opened in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, serving up exotic varieties such as grass-fed wild game burgers featuring Elk, Texas Wild Boar and BBQ Venison in an upscale fast-casual atmosphere.

Along with the wild game series of burgers, available seasonably with a new burger offering every two months, The Lounge offers standards like The Lounge Burger and the smaller-portioned Baby Lounge Burger.

If your tastes run more traditional, no worries.  The Big-Mac-inspired “The Classic” does a gourmet turn on a nostalgic favorite, with a juicy five-ounce beef patty topped with organic American cheese, diced raw onion, pickles, organic ketchup and mustard.

At The Burger Lounge, you can have it your way, anyway, with a smorgasbord of toppings including organic white, smoked cheddar and American cheese; Blue Cheese; house-made 1000 Island and BBQ sauce; and fresh or grilled onion, pickled red onion and lettuce and tomato.

If you crave healthy, guilt-free beef eatin’, you’ve come to the right place.  Besides a menu with several gluten-free options, all the beef on the menu comes from the Rain Crow Ranch, a family owned farm in the southern Ozarks dedicated to humane treatment of their free-range grass-fed cows that are never given hormones, antibiotics, grain, or corn.  The product is a delicious and healthier beef.  As for the generously sized Lounge Bun, you will notice a hint of sweetness, thanks to a touch of molasses added to its blend of organic whole wheat and organic white flours.  To boot, it is also Kosher and dairy-free.

If beef is not your thing, you can opt for the Free Range Turkey Burger, Quinoa Veggie Burger, the Wild Salmon Burger or Crispy Chicken Tenders.  Salad options include a Fresh Vegetable Salad with a green leaf mix along with tomato, corn, cucumber, red onion, jicama, ricotta; and an Organic Quinoa Salad, with dark leafy greens along with roasted baby squash, corn, tomato, red onion, toasted almonds, and feta – both available as half salads for smaller appetites.

Of course you can’t forget the sides.  With the half-and-half platters of hand-cut onion rings and French fries, you don’t have to play favorites.  The combo is particularly tasty accompanied by

housemade BBQ sauce and buttermilk ranch dressing.

For sweet tastes, the menu features floats, shakes and sundaes and a changing menu of a special housemade dessert.

While the service is snappy, the atmosphere is laid back.  The inviting outdoor patio surrounded by a lighted frosted glass railing, and the stylish contemporary interior décor of shiny orange tile walls accented by bare and painted brick walls, chrome bar stools and polished white table tops, along with the dimmed lighting and soft pop music, make for the perfect setting for a casual date night or a night out with the family.

The Burger Lounge’s “guest first” philosophy and their offerings of premium quality ingredients and product, as well as their  environmentally responsible approach to sourcing their food from a sustainable far, has caught on across San Diego and Los Angeles where the restaurant has opened several new locations over the past couple of years.  Already garnering the accolade of “Best New Restaurant” by LA Weekly in 1012, the Burger Lounge is sure to beef up its offering and awards wall in 2013.

The Beverly Hills Burger Lounge is located at 281 S. Beverly Drive at Gregory Way.  The West Hollywood restaurant is located on the Strip at 8539 West Sunset Blvd.
